When an old address stops helping
Searches still mention movie2k.to, movie2k.ch, movie2k.ag, and other endings. The original Movie2k.to closed in 2013. A later site using a similar name does not prove the original operator returned. These pages do not list those domains as working mirrors or share their accounts.
Recover the film, not the old URL
Take the title from the bookmark and search for it. Include a year if the name belongs to more than one production. For television, open the series first and then its episode guide. This usually gives you a clearer starting point than guessing replacement domain endings or trying to preserve the structure of an old link.
What happens to a saved list?
Browser storage is tied to the address where you used it. A similar domain does not automatically inherit your saved titles. Keep a copy through the Watchlist backup tool while the original list is still available. If a page opens but its controls do not respond, follow page troubleshooting instead of assuming the address is the problem.
